PHILIPPINE ENDANGERED SPECIES
Philippines is rich when it comes to species that are unique in characteristics but as time goes by, these species became endangered. They are endangered because they don't have habitats to live in as a result of our awful doings. We keep on destroying their homes without thinking that they are too innocent to experience this kind of tragedy.
According to pop.inquirer.net, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) reported that the Philippines is home to more than 52,177 described species, which are only indigenous to the region.
It has been declared by the IUCN red list criteria that 418 animal species in the Philippines are threatened: meaning they are either vulnerable, endangered, or critically endangered. The Philippine Eagle, Tamaraw, Negros bleeding-heart and Dinagat bushy-tailed cloud rat are some of the endangered species in the Philippines.
This presentation will provide you information about some of the endangered species here in the Philippines.
